Plenary and invited talks as well as symposia and tutorials will take place at the Centro Congressi Lingotto.
Former location of Fiat' s first major car factory built between 1917 and 1920, the building has been redesigned in the ‘80s by the world renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano and it houses today a shopping center, a hotel, an art gallery, a concert hall and a conference center: a great modern structure designed specially for conventions.
The Auditorium has excellent acoustics and an automated system is able to vary its capacity from 2100 to 500 places.
Besides, 12 interconnected halls with advanced technology equipment, electronic and audiovisual aids can accommodate from 500 to 50 persons respectively, making 3.500 seats in all.
Furthermore the Lingotto Conference Center's uniqueness results from the perfect combination with the over 50.000 square meters of the Exhibition Center where the ECOC Exhibition will take place within Hall no 3.
